Youtube is good. I've been able to watch the first 6 episodes of Doctor Who without having to wait until July.

Yes, it is often compressed, although it's not so bad for cartoons (watched two episodes of Harvey Birdman last night). Also, there is that whole "3-inch screen" thing, but Youtube has a full screen option.
