Was it just a few short months ago that Jason Kidd was practically a Los Angeles Laker? Just about everyone called it, then had to redact. Too bad. Instead of one great team (LA), we now have two mediocre ones. Bryant scored 31 points (on 7-of-31 shooting) for the Lakers, and Kidd had 15 points, 14 assists and seven rebounds for the Nets as New Jersey won, 102-100, on Sunday, holding off a furious LA rally at the end. It was the Nets' third straight win — all on the road — after a six-game losing streak. Richard Jefferson had 27 points.
• What's Wrong With Those Bulls? Where were you when the NBA's Jamario Moon Era dawned? Chris Bosh had 16 points and 13 rebounds, and Moon had a career-high 15 points to lead the Raptors over the Buls 93-78. It was Chicago's fourth straight loss.
• They're Not Booing ... Carlos Boozer had 36 points and 11 rebounds and Deron Williams — who apears to be fully recovered from a toe injury — had 21 points and 14 assists to lead the Jazz over the Pistons 103-93. Discuss.
• Timaaay! Tim Duncan's 26 points offset his team's slow start as the Spurs beat the Oklahoma City Seattle SuperSonics 116-101.

Trying to figure out if the United Center requires one tenant suck massively at all times to prevent tearing the space-time continuum.
7-of-31 shooting? I put up better numbers hitting on women at bars
So that 4 years, $60 million for Ben Wallace is turning out to be a bad deal? Shocking.
@Illegal Immigrant: That's better than 20%, so I think you are lying. You seem like a 10% guy to me. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
Kobe was 7 for 21 and also had 7 assists.
Luol Deng's jambox is now Jamario's, by way of his actions.
I love that, after Kwame Brown Injury 92,094, Phil finally realized "waitaminute, I have a young center who's averaging a double-double while playing only 25 minutes a game, maybe I should start him now instead of Chris Mihm." Bynum is the fucking truth.
Good thing Kidd didn't end up in LA. After that, all they would need is a blockbuster trade for Bobby Brown and a "Woman Beating Trifecta" would be in place.
Allegedly...
So...Bron Bron is averaging a trple-double his last six games. Anyone notice? Anyone?
Basketball doesn't matter until they get into the 7 month playoff.
@DannyNoonan: Yes.
"7-of-31 shooting? I put up better numbers shooting a basketball into a hoop"
@J.E. Skeets: Beat me to it.
@DannyNoonan: Skeets meant to say, "Yes."
@DannyNoonan:
He absolutely manhandled the Raps down the stretch on Saturday. There was just nothing they could do, so it was tough to be disappointed. I think he's got a bright future.
It's not being mediocre... it's Parody
Jamario Moon is quite intriguing. LeBron James may decide to start playing without teammates soon.
The Bulls have finally tuned out Scott Skiles, this is Phoenix all over again.
Slow to the draw here but, I had the pleasure of watching Jamario Moon play for the Albany Patroons last season. Granted he was playing against washouts, retreads and no-account shitheels, but Moon was unreal. That he was able to do the same on the big stage is only sort of surprising.
Unrelated to the actual article: are the Cavs good this year or not? I can't tell.
@Magnakai Haaskivi: Eh... kinda, sorta, not really.
LeBron is playing out of his mind, though.
