• The game, for some reason, is taking a painfully long time... but with no Donovan McNabb, I'm thinking a comeback is unlikely. Pac-Man Jones had an incredible punt return for a touchdown, showing why he's worth keeping around even if his assault on the Nashville legal system continues. As for McNabb, I can't find official word anywhere on the official extent of his injury, but... I'll see if I can find something. Eagles trail, 24-6.
• The Lee Evans Day of Magnificence continues, as it looks like he'll finish with 11 catches for 265 yards and 2 touchdowns. I imagine that'll be good enough to win some of you your fantasy games, if you had the foresight to get him in your lineup. Buffalo won the game, too... though I'd imagine that there were players in the actual game that were more concerned with Lee Evans' fantasy day than with the actual outcome of this one.
• The Steelers found a way to come back and beat the Browns. Ben Roethlisberger made some magnificent plays in the second half to erase the 10-point deficit. The Browns had one play from the 22 yard line to try to take the lead... and it was tipped around in a fashion that made numerous Steelers fans all over the country involuntarily pee. Game of the day so far. Steelers win, 24-20.

I'm glad Ben finally decided he wanted to play well in the second half.
The announcers in the SF-Seattle game just drew a penis on Mike Holmgren. I'm not trying to one-up these other games but I do think it's something you need to know.
Reid just announced at the post-game presser that Donovan tore his ACL, so he's done.
Terrence Heywood just got JACKED UP!
I know Drew Bress threw 3 picks and "only" 2 TDs, but I'm glad I started him this week. 510 yards!
The only reason I didn't involuntarily pee at the end of the Browns-Steelers game was because I had voluntarily peed about 30 seconds before. Gotta plan and manage your bodily functions if you're a fan of the 2006 Steelers
We are seeing a lot of the Manning Face today. I'm enjoying it quite a bit more than I thought I would.
McNabb's out for the year with a torn ACL ...bring on jeff garcia
Does Philadelphia have some sort of weird repressed man-love thing going on or is there some other reason they always seem to have a gay Quarterback?
Chief Wahoo...
Sonny Jurgensen and Norm Snead are on their way to your house to kick your ass right this minute.
Any news on Favre? Madden may be inconsolable tonight.
To be fair to Ben on the "playing well" issue, his 3 INTs hit a grand total of 5 Steeler receiver hands before being intercepted.
Still, a diaper may have been handy.
We've had better Sundays in Philadelphia.
They said Favre had tenderness and numbness in his hand, and no MRI was scheduled. And he could have come back. Sure, he had a bad game, but the guy really is pretty fucking tough.
CBS is saying Favre is expected to play next week.
First McNabb, then Soriano is going to the Cubs... sad day for Philadelphia sports.
Favre won't be jackin' it this week, I guess.
McNabb tears up his knee...he's going to get even fatter now.
Philistine, Jurgensen will never catch me with his knees as bad as they are. As for Snead? His final season in the NFL was with the 49ers in 74-75. Yeah, nothing says straight to me like San Francisco in the mid-70s.
Manning obviously thinks this is a playoff game.
I hate being from Philadelphia. Sonofabitch. My loyalty is for sale... any takers? Please.
Ben may hav only been around for half the game, but I'll take 1/2 a (Roethlis)berger over a whole (Charlie)Fry anyday.
God I'm a dork.
