No one is giving Jacksonville much of a chance, though we have a feeling if they were playing the Bengals rather than the Patriots, they'd be the trendy pick. Or maybe everyone's just afraid of disrespecting Tom Brady even further.

I am one of those people that said there is no way I am going to pick against the Pats until I see them lose one in the playoffs. So I gotta go with the Pats.

Hmm... When the pundits are this universal, I get jittery... that being said, with the game in Foxboro, I pick the Jags.
$10 bucks says, Bryon Leftwich gets knocked unconscious, his teammates pick him up, go all Weekend at Bernie's with his limp body, and he still manages to throw 4 TD's and gets the win. No, let's make it $20.
Everybody needs to cut Brady some slack; the pressure is getting to him. It's a tough burden, being the first openly gay Sportsman of the Year. Pats will be up for this game (Belichick's on it already) but the Jags have more to prove. Jacksonville wins.

How can people buy so blindly into the Patriot mystique hype. This is a team that played like ass for most of the season. Jax wins easily.
If life were fair, Brady would throw 5 picks and get disrespected all night. I can't take these Patriots anymore! If they lose, does it mean that the media was right to disrespect the Pats all along? If there is a Patriots-Colts playoff game, how does Belichik get it to snow inside the RCA dome?

You know, it's hard not to like the Patriots. Sure, the coach thinks he's a genius and every commentator on TV and radio and paper and internets agrees. Sure, Tom Brady's just a humble guy who thinks he's disrespected even though SI made him Sportsman of the Year. But really, that's no reason to hate the Patriots. But this, Simmons likes the Patriots. So, just so that little Billy will have something else to cry about next week -- other than his BoSox -- the Jags to win in a runaway.
as a pats fan, i get jittery when everyone picks the pats--that seems like a jinx to me. and if you listen to our own pro bowl DE the fans suck and don't give them a home field advantage. anything can definitely happen saturday.

i love the jags, but the patriots still have that whole "you can't beat us so don't make it too painful" aura around them, so i really don't know.
