You knew it was going to happen, because baseball is just too goofy of a game for it not to: Famed goofus Grady Little could be returning to the dugout. The Los Angeles Dodgers are interviewing Grady for their open managerial position, which makes sense in a certain way, considering the Dodgers aren't likely to sniff the playoffs anytime soon, saving Little the embarrassment of choking on a national stage once again.
Another thing we like about this: Since being fired by the Red Sox, Little has been working as a "roving catching instructor for the Chicago Cubs." We like this job. We think that "roving catcher instructor for the Cubs," honestly, is about as far a fall from "manager of the Red Sox" as you can possibly have. Save for maybe "Montreal Expos advance scout."
