Tiger Woods, risking his reputation as a thugged-out gangsta by shaving his goatee, is tied for the lead at the Dubai Desert Classic. He's tied with a Danish fella named Anders Hansen, while Retief Goosen and Ernie Els are also in contention.
Somehow, it doesn't seem fair that Tiger gets $3 million to just show up for the thing, and then has a good chance to collect the lion's share of the $2.5 million purse. Someone should really think about kicking his ass. Especially now that the threatening goatee is gone.
Meanwhile, the poor schmucks who don't command $3 million in appearance fees are slugging it out at the FBR Open back in America. J.B. Holmes leads the tournament at the TPC of Scottsdale, one stroke ahead of J.J. Henry. Apparently, you need to go by your first two initials to succeed at the FBR Open.
