    "It's not like someone injected the bull with a chemical that made him unusually aggressive. Or that I had a massive life insurance policy on my son. Or that the helmet and vest were replaced with structurally compromised lookalikes at the last minute. Or that I hired someone to fire a blow dart at the bull's testicles while my son was riding. Or that we are way behind on our mortgage payments and about to lose the house. Or that Richard was actually adopted.


    I mean, there really wasn't anything anyone could have done."
