After spending the first half of the year drumming up support in Oregon, and then spending the day as an election observer in Pennsylvania, I'd like to think all credit should heading my way. Nah, just kidding.
Seriously, I'm still in shock. Oh my god America, you pulled it off and did the right thing. YES WE CAN!
Has anyone here watched Robert Redford's The Candidate? At the end of the film, SPOILER ALERT, Robert Redford's character has just won the election, and he looks around and asks "What do we do now?"
So, what do we do now? We got a shit load of work to do. But we're on our way.

Seen it multiple times. One of the best films on politics ever made.

Thank you my fellow redneck, racist fellow western Pennsylvanian.
Happy our boy Murtha won convincingly.

I hope when Murtha does decide to retire that he finds a qualified Democrat to run for his seat.

But they also said the campaign indicated no retreads. I find it very difficult to picture a Cabinet without Bill Richardson involved.
