"Not because it's too high-brow, but because, like a Brett Favre retirement press conference, it's been done, and it's meaning has been misinterpreted to begin with."

In this high-brow sentence, you're 2 for 3 on the apostrophes.

The worst part is that no one even gets this quote right. Fitz was talking about how we live in and hold on to our youth (first act) for as long as possible before one day realizing we are old (third act) without enjoying middle-age. But I'm sure this comment won't appear cuz I didn't mention pee pees and wee wees

Like the great F. Scott Fitzgerald once wrote, "My style is impetuous. My defense is impregnable, and I'm just ferocious. I want your heart. I want to eat his children. Praise be to Allah!"

During the Super Bowl LXV pre-game show a reporter will lead into a story about Terry McAulay and the Arizona Cardinals with the line "Which form of proverb do you prefer Better late than never, or Better never than late?"

No, if you must criticize Flanagan, criticize her for being... too pretty, or not pretty enough, or fat, or anorexic, a nasty man-hating bull dyke, a man-hungry hoochie, too tall, a midget or for farting in elevators. Or not farting in elevators.
