    McLaughlin is accused of using a knife to kill her mother, 73-year-old Shirley J. Robuck, and then setting fire to the Sweetbriar Hollow subdivision home to cover up the evidence. McLaughlin was on the run for more than two hours when she was spotted nearby from a state trooper helicopter and police dogs tracked her down.

    The obituary also stated that she is survived by her daughter, Jennifer; son-in-law, David Grzyb; and granddaughter, Kendall Grzyb, all of Madison; half sister, Deborah Steuber of Columbus, Ohio; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and her loving cat, Lucy.
