    @And_You_Shall_Know_Me_By_The_T...-Its: But weaker competition doesn't magically make Notre Dame a better football team. If they go 11-1 against this group, would you really think deserved a title shot?

    Notre Dame's had the same schedule forever. Sometimes these opponents are good, and sometimes they're not. But its not like they go out of their way to schedule cupcakes; they just have, for better or worse, a lot of "tradition" games.

    @Chris Hanson's Axe: So if Princeton goes undefeated they should get a shot at the BCS championship, too? Hey, it's not their fault Harvard and Yale aren't as good as they used to be in the 19th century.

    @bonerland: Ah, well, the BCS title is a different question. I am just addressing the issue of razzing Notre Dame and their schedule.

    But I also have a feeling that the same people who are soooo upset at ND's schedule being given a shot at the BCS title were also all about letting Utah have a shot. At least if ND goes undefeated this year, they'll have beaten USC, Michigan, and MSU, three (usually) quality wins.
