    @Le Kangourou de Kataroo: I respectfully disagree about Love Actually. There are moments of brilliance (the Laura Linney plot, "Alone, again. Naturally.") but there's too much stuff I have to fast forward past (namely the Emma Thompson and Liam Neeson subplots) to classify it as "perfect."

    @Burning Down The House That Ruth Built: Dancing. I love the dancing. There's something very romantic and sexy about dancing, and the combination of dance and the bad boy and saying "Fuck it, I'm going to do what I want for once" is the trifecta.

    The relationship between Patrick and the band, particularly Russell, is the movie. How a band that has been together for awhile and is now first finding success deals with it. The underlying jealousies and conflicts. Also, how Lester Bangs was right. Corprorations ruined rock. As soon as they discovered they could make money off of it, the music was out and the merchandising was in.
