    as noted above, it's a bullshit rule, in that doc rivers would have selected miller's replacement. inother words, thuggery pays when you have the refs in your pockets. the celtics are always at "home," wherever they play.

    @Mo Knows Ladies: Wait, a double foul is as equally sketchy as jacking a guy in the face and knocking him loopy? Only in Boston.


    And besides, if Allen hadn't fouled out on that play, he would have within a minute or so when the refs caught him grabbing onto Gordon's jersey or body checking him on a cut or sticking his leg out on someone as they cut or one of the myriad tactics made famous by 1990s Rileyball that Allen has been pulling all series, even all season. The refs clearly were told to watch him for that kind of crap. Because they're fouls.

    @supermike5alive: Hey, I also thought that the 6th foul on Allen was complete BS. But it doesn't change the fact that Brad Miller was absolutely mugged by Rajon Rondo as he was going to the basket and no flagrant foul was called. I don't see how anybody can say that Rondo was going for the ball when the ball was nowhere near Miller's head.

    Dash, it was a game tying lay-up.


    I'm not sure how I feel about the play, its one thing to foul and prevent the layup, its another to knock the dude's tooth out. You want to at least look like you are going for the ball; in this case, he was, what seemed to be, 3 feet away from the ball and just swiped at his head.


    To make matters worse, if Miller couldn't shoot those shots, Doc would be able to select the shooter off the Bulls bench.
