I wasn't on the Buzzsaw bandwagon really, just rooting for Kurt to win again, maybe follow it up with another 4,000 yard, 20+ TD season for his career. That might get him more HoF consideration.

This sucks for Buzzsaw fans, but hey, the pre-Brady Patriots sympathize with what it's like to feel relevant for once. Sometimes, you have to get raped by the Bears or outplayed by the Packers before you can get a championship. Hopefully the Cardinals don't have to lose another bowl and can make the adjustments to compete again next year.

In a huge surprise that I never saw coming, people are already complaining about the job the refs did.

Well, they'll NEVER know about that secret sales tax we have in western PA that goes directly to the NFL referees association in order to fix all the games in our favor!

After listening to morons on Seattle sports radio offering support for Arizona (a division rival, no less) for two weeks, I have a lot less sympathy than I should have for the Buzzsaw. The Cardinals success was really exposing the ignorance of fans up here, i.e. supporting a division rival in the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME against a team that beat you three years ago, whom you have NO rivaly with whatsoever.

At least you guys didn't roll over like we did against the Steelers. I'm assuming you guys won't blame the refs either.

The NFL Network aired the condensed Super Bowl XIV. As the LA Rams walked off the field after losing to the Steelers, the kind NFL Films announcer soothingly said that the Rams were just as much a victor as the Steelers, they had won pride.

Same as the Cards? Maybe not. But close enough.

First let me offer my condolences. The Cards played a hell of a game and, to be honest, I thought they still had a chance at the end. If anyone would be the appropriate quarterback to send up a Hail Mary, it's Kurt Warner.

Speaking as an Eagles fan, you know doubt understand now how I felt watching the NFC Championship Game. There is little worse in football than watching a hard-fought comeback dissipate with a last-second touchdown drive by your opponent.

To paraphrase a certain ex-Chiefs coach, "THE CARDINALS CAN BUILD ON THIS." But for obvious reasons, I'm hoping they don't.
