Stuart Scott's memoir, which he completed before dying last month at the age of 49, comes out next month. The Washington Post quotes a passage from the book, in which Scott dates the origins of "Boo-yah" to his high school days in North Carolina:
The other day, I was about to walk out of my place to go do errands or something with my kid. But my kid didn't have her jacket on yet, so she said to me, "Wait for iiiiiit."
There's a lot going on in this two-minute piece of artistry from the IHOP in Orangeburg, S.C. on Saturday. Drinks being thrown. Canes being swung. Gibberish being yelled. And, a chilling effect being felt.
