As a Canadian, I can tell you the NHL's regular season is already meaningless.
The NHL needs to;

-reduce the number of teams by half,
-reduce the regular season by half,
-reduce the playoff teams by half, and
-reduce the play off series to best of 3 instead of best of 7. Reply

Apparently the truck was being driven by a small boy named Danny who couldn't see over the steering wheel. The accident also occurred 3 seconds after all other cars had stopped. Reply

The Islanders defenseman was hit by a truck while walking in Philadelphia today, but refused medical treatment and was later found dead in his hotel room due to internal bleeding. Reply

Here's an idea.....make your team the worst team in the league, cut back on expense (no jacuzzi, no team plane), hire a bunch of old and young, inexperienced players, offer to sell team to a person in Florida. I think I saw that in a movie once. Reply
