After a bit of a delay, we have the details for the next Deadspin Pants Party, to be held in Philadelphia on Saturday, July 14. It's all official and stuff: You can buy your tickets right here. Game starts at 3:55. We will be there, as will the esteemed balls of A.J. Daulerio.

By the way, the lovely and talented Lady Andrea has put together a clearinghouse for all Deadspin Pants Parties. Miami, Atlanta and Las Vegas, coming up, with more on their way, surely.

There's drinking afterwards too; after the jump, AJ has all the details.

Okay, after we'll have a room at Kildare's, Headhouse Square on Second and South, with drink and food specials. Email me if you plan on attending, so I can give them a proper head count. Also, email me if you'd like to have a Where's Mamula Sandwich so I can know how many to bring. Those will cost $3 extra, and you can pay me at the park or buy me a beer. Or, you know, gimme a handy.

<![CDATA[ Enjoy The Comedic Stylings Of Lenny DiNardo ]]>

Tonight, the summer of Pants Parties continues: We'll be hitting ole Shea Stadium for the A's-Mets showdown. DiNardo! Glavine! Eight dollar beers! Welcome to New York.

In three weeks — and more details to come on this once Daulerio gets his act in gear — it'll be a Philadelphia Pants Party, with Miami and Seattle coming later this summer. (Someone should set up a Web site for these. Well, other than this one.) So if you're at the game tonight, or just watching at home, look for us: We'll be the ones making it rain in the upper deck.

<![CDATA[ Meet Your D---spin Pants Party Winner (Kind Of) ]]> dspinwinner.jpgWell, the final standings are in from the D—-spin Pants Party Pool, and we have a mostly anonymous winner we suspect we'll be hearing from today.

The winner was "C.C." who notched 1,560 points, besting the 4,045 other people who entered the pool. That's pretty impressive, so much so that we wish they'd have used their real name or something.

Anyway, if you want to claim the prize package, C.C. — which includes a gripping story about small-town baseball — drop us a line and we'll set it up. Thanks everyone else for entering, particularly those who had Illinois getting out of the first round. Sigh.

<![CDATA[ Your Final Four Pants Party Update ]]> bracketsbracketsaaaaah.jpgAll right, with just three games left in the NCAA Tournament, we thought we'd check in with the ole D—-spin Pants Party NCAA Tournament pool.

Out of 4,046 entries, just one stands above and alone in first place, and it's a name of self-promotion: It's "handride.blogspot.com," who has 1180 points. (He's tops in our pool and 69th overall in the whole ESPN universe.) Turns out, that's an actual site, this "handride," and it's not even about anything dirty: It's actually about horse racing.

He has UCLA over Georgetown in the national title game. Here's how the scenarios seem to work out as to who will win:

UCLA over Georgetown: handride.blogspot.com
UCLA over Ohio State: I am Ronaldo's Hair Gel
Florida over Georgetown: CRAPASS
Florida over Ohio State: c 2
Georgetown over UCLA: Hughes 1
Georgetown over Florida: Acie Law and Order
Ohio State over Florida: c 1
Ohio State over UCLA: Second Place First Loser

(Note: We probably calculated something wrong there.)

<![CDATA[ Checking In On The Pants Party ]]> bracketsbracketsaaaaah.jpgOn this tournament off-day, we thought we'd check in and see how our D—-spin Pants Party pool on ESPN was going.

We had a total of 4047 entries, so it's even more impressive that there's one person alone in first place. It's the gorgeously named Sean Salisbury's Junk 2, put together by "K. Poston." We officially are rooting for him/her to finish in first place in the whole ESPN tourney. That would be a most enjoyable trophy presentation. He/she is in good position, too; all the elite eight teams are left, and he/she has North Carolina over Kansas in the national title game.

Like most people, we have all our Final Four teams remaining ourselves, with Ohio State over Florida in the championship game. So, you know, check your bracket, if you're into that type of thing.
