    Thought I'd share: My "blog" is a made up politician using photos from Flickr. He is innocently racist, calls non whites "others", is "running for NJ Comptroller on the GOP ticket" (an unelectable position) and has about 300 Facebook friends. His name is Jon Rucini, no one in the world has this name, (pronounced RU-SEE-KNEE) People think this guy is real and have a) sent him invites to speak at a high school, b) attend a NJ Republican endorsement dinner for a governor with Joe the Plumber there and c) offered him a job. Are people stupid or am I a dick?

    @Peter Cavan: I did enjoy it. The theatre was pretty small but the cast and orchestra were really good. Chicago was the only other musical I had seen live so I just wasn't prepared for how heavy the content was. But the music was stirring.

    @Da_Mang: I just adore the music. I like any show that has a song that combines other songs at the same time. Like "One Day More" in Les Miserables, or "Quintet" in West Side Story. I don't think Chicago has a song like that, though "Cell Block Tango" comes close.

    @Ugueth Urbina's Machete: Ah! That is so frustrating. I went to Hardly Strictly in SF last fall and didn't get to see Ricky Skaggs and the Kentucky Thunder for that reason :(

    @Ugueth Urbina's Machete: Well, that would be an easy decision for me...I can't stand the Decemberists, and I'm not a huge Elvis Costello fan (although I have immense respect for him)


    I'd go see the Mars Volta, but obviously for a fan of all three it's gotta be frustrating
