The Lions already tried this. The little kid whose play was picked couldn't draw a straight line, and it led to Dan Orlovsky running out of the back of the end zone.
@Hit Bull Win Steak: Me and my friend Jeff did that with NBA Live 95. We had a whole list of rules too. I know I had Vinny Del Negro, but beyond that I couldn't possibly name the rest of my team.
For those without stars who wonder what they're missing in the unapproved comments, there have been 4 separate dunderheads point out to Craggs that Steve Nash is Canadian. Nothing to see here.
I completely agree with this post. It is saying that despite the USA being made up of 75% white people, white Americans are not above 2% in the NBA simply because they aren't skilled enough. This is not an inflammatory topic.
But when discussing coaching... (everyone knows where this is going) suggesting that there are way more white coaches than black because they are simply more skilled is outright racist and it cannot be discussed rationally.
I'm not saying the latter is necessarily true, just that it can't be discussed.
I've always wondered why there are no Chinese players in the NHL. You figure a nation of over one billion people would be able to produce one decent player.
Fox News will be running a similar feature next week, with Bill O'Reilly trying to figure out why we haven't seen a white American President in almost a full year.
"run by white Americans, coached by white Americans and marketed to white Americans, and whose white American commissioner once hired a white American political consultant"
And David Stern already knows about the Underground Railroad. Fool me once...
For OTL to go rummaging around the dark recesses of the league's psyche for some sinister explanation to a piece of demographic trivia isn't just wrongheaded; it's a rite borrowed from the Church of the Aggrieved White Male (Bishop Glenn Beck presiding).
I look forward to seeing this sentence way in the upper-right corner of next week's Approval Matrix.

Coincidentally, Real Sex just ran a segment last night about white americans being stereotyped in the porn industry.
