A pink dress-clad pitch invader at today’s Blackpool-Fulham match in the English Championship produced as much scoring as the two sides combined after he deposited the ball in the net before calmly being removed by security. The goal was disallowed.
Though the basement-dwelling Fulham took a 1-0 lead 19 minutes into the match, Manchester United's two quick goals by Robin Van Persie and Michael Carrick near the end of the second half seemingly corrected everything. But in extra time, Fulham wrecked their stability.
"How does that happen?!" This own goal from Man City's Vincent Kompany, seems like it should be impossible but, lucky for us, it was merely improbable.
