    That piece about Citadel's football progam has stuck with me since it was first published in '92. That article, coupled with the Shannon Faulkner fiasco sent their formerly very good I-AA program into a tailspin of shitiness that is only occasionally punctured by mediocrity.
    And if you happen to think he was unfairly critical of the school, spend 5 minutes discussing his article about The Citadel* with a graduate of that institution, and you'll realize Reilly simply ran out of copy space.


    *Graduates of THE Ohio State University have nothing on clowns from Citadel correcting one, should the definitive article be omitted, unintentionally or otherwise.

    @Quake 'n' Shake: Does anybody remember the Susan Faludi article in the New Yorker on the same subject? She visited a local gay bar where some of the cadets allegedly had tranvestite lovers. Huge outcry when it was published. That article and Reilly's made me think the worst place in the world to go to school was the Citadel.
