    Hey, playing for Detroit behind all those weak o-lines led to serious head trauma.


    Of course, ROOTING for the Lions since they drafted Sims has led to much of the fan base suffering head trauma as well.

    @The Muggsy Bogues Redux Experiment: I like it, just because if there's nothing on during the week, there's always a game happening somewhere. In theory.


    In actual practice I go through entire weeks where I won't see a game. Generally speaking though, I'll watch Golden State-Utah just because I can. I have no affiliations really with either team.


    I'm still watching on my old tube large screen, so I can't say if they are HD, though.

    @TracyHamandEggs!: Thanks for the heads up. I think keeps reducing until they charge like $69 for the last three weeks of the regular season, I think.


    @SundaySunday: There's probably a player I wouldn't mind watching every night. I've always rooted for individual players over teams, anyway. You sort of root for them to do great things. It'd be cool to see Chris Paul or OJ Mayo (leading the rookies in scoring, right?) every night. If nothing else, let it play in the background.

    @The Muggsy Bogues Redux Experiment: Generally speaking I'm a big NBA fan. NBA League Pass is the only sports package I purchase (aside from the general Fox/MSG/NESN package).


    Also, some friends and I are in a competitive head-to-head NBA fantasy league, so it's also fun to track how our players are doing by watching live.

    There's a Facebook group for my high school class. Some of the names I don't recognize at all, we were a class of about 600, and some I do recognize and have no desire to ever speak to that person again. I've friend requested several but I won't just request anyone.

    @UkraineNotWeak: There's one for my class, too; we're a lot smaller (I think 175?) and I recognized pretty much every name. I didn't really have a connection to my high school class, though; I was in a lot of honors classes and plays and things that made me much more connected with the two classes that immediately preceded mine. I found maybe three or four people I'd actually WANT to contact about anything...others I friended as a diversionary measure (I knew they'd see me, friend me, and that I'd begrudgingly accept, so I just got it out of the way; most people wait for you to contact them first, so if you never make that first step you're money).
