Would Raiders fans even know how to complete a sentence?
Would there even be any Seahawks fans available?

It's Werner Brandes, and his voice is his passport, not his name. Yes, I know that from memory. No, I can't explain why. Yes, that makes me a fucking loser. No, I don't care.

I rarely buy CDs, but I do buy CDs of bands that I like a lot and want to support beyond just digital downloads, and Mastodon is one of those half dozen bands.
I didn't read anything about Crack the Skye (reviews, etc.) and it was not at all what I was expecting after Leviathan or Blood Mountain. It was better.
When describing this album, I try and use an analogy that more people would be familiar with by saying that this album is to Mastodon what OK Computer was to Radiohead, and people with a bit more critic-street-cred have even said that it's the hard rock/metal genre's The Wall.

@spankyjoe: Melody doesn't have to play a role. While I'm not to keen on crusty, I'm a proponent of thrash and powerviolence.
Agoraphobic Nosebleed is just a bit too slow for my liking...KIDDING (though having a drum machine makes it easier for them to keep up the pace).
Also, and this is a minor point, I am a she, not a he.
