Such is life.

The Dome wasn't only used for NFL games; some pretty memorable hoops were also played there: An exhibition game between NBA All-Stars (led by hometown hero Larry Bird's wispy mustache) against the U.S. Olympic team took place between those walls, the '85 All-Star Game, and four Final Fours - 1991, 1997, 2000, 2006 - were decided in the building.

Earlier today, the old home to both the Miami Heat and Florida Panthers got demolished, and we've got video of the implosion following the jump:
