@Civil Negligence: Well, we don't really know, because they refuse to even consider it.
I would think fair/foul calls, trap catches, and/or force outs wouldn't be completely unreasonable. (For discussion. I'm still on the fence as to whether it would do any good.)
@I Like Cheap Beer: All kidding aside, the first time I ever visited Manhattan — I've been only twice — I stayed at the Hotel Pennsylvania. I felt like I needed to wear a fedora and date Jean Harlow. #instantreplay
On the bright side, we can look forward to another postseason of watching 20 minutes of bad-call replays while Tim McCarver explains how the call could have gone either way and the umps probably got it right. #instantreplay
@Chris Hanson's Axe: I would promote this if I had the ability. Minor league baseball is a summer treat that fills the space between football seasons. The major leagues are a waste of time. #badcalls
George Lucas already has a deal in place with MLB to go through all old game footage and replace the umpires with various cyborgs, droids, and rastafied Gungans.

Can we get some parameters? Inside the park fair/foul calls? Catch/no catch calls? The strike zone (God forbid)? All of the above?
It just seems too easy to yell at baseball for not expanding while having no plan of your own. What are we, Republicans here?

They don't need a plan. Market forces will ensure the correct calls are made. #instantreplay
