    But the fact remains that the NFL Network is still not carried by SEVEN of the top 10 cable providers in the United States

    Thankfully, it is carried by the top cable provider in Canada, but beyond that, the NFL Network games are carried in Canada on a national cable sports channel, so if you have basic cable, chances are you get all the Thursday night games.

    Never understood these huge football fans that are so devoted to the game, but somehow unable to part with seven dollars a month to watch the NFL network. Buy it for like 4 months. 28 bucks. It's like ten extra games or whatever it is. 2-3 dollars an NFL game. Not everything is free, freeloading cunts.

    @lukeoneil47: I get it, but I have to pay for the extra "sports tier."
    Ironically, the reason I purchased the sports tier in the first place was for college football coverage on Versus. Since then, Cox moved it to the expanded basic tier in Phoenix. But, I'm hooked on the extra college football, so the sports tier remains.

    I consider receiving the NFL Network to be a bonus.
