Anybody wondering whatever happened to Lil Ronnie, the child rapping, Indianapolis Colts superfan? Well, he's two years older now, and a lot more hardcore. And he goes by "Ron D."

Honestly, the "dancing" girls in the background made us very, very sad.

<![CDATA[Lil' Ronnie Throws Down the Gauntlet; Common and Kanye Answer]]> beef.jpg

In what's shaping up to be the most vicious rap beef since 50 Cent tangled with Oprah, Common and Kanye West have ignored Lil' Ronnie's advice to "step off." No, they have stepped right the heck on, recording this little pro-Bears ditty, "Southside Superbowl."

Download here, courtesy of Spine Magazine.

So that's RonD on the side of the Colts, and Common and Kanye West on the side of the Bears. Welcome to what I'm sure will be the least violent rap war of all time... there's almost no possibility of someone getting shot here. One guy wears a backpack, one guy's in a Gap commercial, and one guy, in 2007, advises people to "step off."

We'll just have to let the album sales decide.

<![CDATA[Lil Ronnie Is Back, So STEP OFF, PUNK!]]> The Colts have rolled out an October Surprise, and it's a big one; raise the roof, people, for the return of Lil Ronnie! Or as he is now known on the south side of Naptown, "RonD." The then phat rappin' 12-year-old Swayzed from the scene after last winter's monster hit Super Bowl Bound, which told of his love for the Colts and "my homey Reggie Wayne." But now he's returned with Super Bowl Bound 2007 Remix, backed by other rappers on his new label, 31 South Entertainment. The Bears should just surrender now.

"Just one goal, Super Bowl Bound/
Matter of fact we rowdy in the Super Bowl now/
It's the three-one-seven, yeah the boys in blue, in the three-oh-five facing the three-one-two/
It's Joseph Addai, a thousand yards without a start/
And when the ball flies, you know it's caught by Dallas Clark ..."

Lil Ronnie is 13 now so his life is bitch city, yo, and he doesn't take no shit. Just check out his other new single, Let Yourself Go (you'll have to scroll down the page a bit), which is pretty much about him picking up girls on his bike ... just how Jay-Z does it. It includes the lyrics: "Naptown superstar, and that's no junk/I'm the best around, so step off, punk!"

Yes Brian Urlacher, you had best step off!

<![CDATA[Where In The World Is Lil Ronnie?]]>

So here's a question: Whatever happened to Lil Ronnie? Longtime Deadspin readers will remember Lil Ronnie, the 12-year-old from the "south side" of Indianapolis who serenaded his beloved Colts with "Super Bowl Bound," the hip-hop ode with the cityscape of Indy pulsing in the background. He was cute, he was fierce, he was driven, man; he was Lil freaking Ronnie.

But now, with the Colts undefeated and seemingly on top of the NFL world ... where's Lil Ronnie? We could certainly use his Talk Of Trash; he surely has much to say. That said, he is 13 now; he might have finally realized that girls are a little cooler than Jim Sorgi. Hey, it happened to Tupac.

<![CDATA[Welcome To The NBA; We Don't Want No Trouble]]> David Stern would like to remind you that, per the NBA's collective bargaining agreement, guns are not allowed in The Spectrum; or any other NBA facility. So just hand those over ... nice and slow ... and you can pick them up on your way out. Um, the one in your boot, too.

The NBA commissioner said Wednesday that he would prefer his players leave their firearms behind when they go out. "It's a pretty, I think, widely accepted statistic that if you carry a gun, your chances of being shot by one increase dramatically," Stern said during his preseason conference call. "We think this is an alarming subject, that although you'll read players saying how they feel safer with guns, in fact those guns actually make them less safe."

Yes, we would hate to see J.J. Redick shoot himself in the foot.

The subject was raised recently when the Pacers' Stephen Jackson shot a gun in the air "at least five times" outside an Indianapolis strip club on Oct. 6. He originally told police he fired in self-defense during a fight in which he was hit by a car. And yes, they do have strip clubs in Indianapolis, even though they all have Lil Ronnie as a bouncer.

<![CDATA[Lil Ronnie Will Crush You]]>
We've documented the goings-on of the great Indianapolis prepubesecent rapper Lil Ronnie in much detail here, and we think we've been awfully nice to the kid, considering he tried to rhyme "comparison" and "Marvin Harrison." But you, you commenters of Deadspin, you're the ones who are the haters. So says 'Lil Ronnie himself, in an interview with Indianapolis' InTake magazine:

Interviewer: Your Web site mentions that people have been "hating on" you since the song and video came out.

Lil Ronnie: Yeah, people on deadspin.com. The people (who run the site) like it, but people on the site were hatin' on us.

Interviewer: How did you react?

Lil Ronnie: We just treat 'em like nothin'. We just smile.

Yeah, you punk bitches.

<![CDATA[Jumping From The Colts Bandwagon As If It's On Fire]]> I think it's fair to say that this Colts fan is just a tad disgruntled. He has listed the following item on EBay: "A stinking Helmet signed by peyton manning....... aka CHOKE ARTIST."

Surprisingly enough, Peyton left "CHOKE ARTIST" out of his signature on the helmet. It does come with a certificate of authenticity, but there's no word on whether or not you get the black and white picture with the word "LOSER" scribbled over it. If you do buy it, though, it's like a seashell. You can hold it up to your ear, and you can hear it blame the offensive line.

The same person is also selling an autographed Mike Vanderjagt 8x10 (the bidding, inexplicably, is at $41), that the seller describes by saying, "Makes me want to choke everytime I look at it!!!!!!"

I'd hate to think it was Lil' Ronnie selling these, but hey... studio time isn't free.

<![CDATA[In Remembrance Of Lil Ronnie]]> lilronnieronnie.jpg
In the wake of the Colts' loss yesterday, we feel obliged to give our sincerest sympathies to Lil Ronnie, the dope phat rappin' 12-year-old Indianapolis dawg, whose old-school raps about the Colts in the Super Bowl influenced some of the biggest names in rap today, including Doug Dogggg, the eight-year-old bling-addled Utah Jazz fan and Timmy T-Nuttzzzz, the world-famous infant with gold teeth who lays down the beats for the funked-out Columbus Blue Jackets.

We feel for you, Lil Ronnie. It is sad that your introduction to life's cruel foibles had to happen to you so soon. The good news, there are still countless bitches on your jock. That helps.
