Doesn't mean the Big Ten is better than the Big East.

Big Ten was on about the same level as the "Heels, Duke, and the Donks" conference. Lost the Challenge 6-5, but did better in the tournament than they did with two of our lower seeded teams beating two of the Donks.
And when media members would claim that the Big Ten's records were inflated because they got to play Indiana while ignoring the horrid bottom few teams of the Big East and others, well, it really started getting annoying.

Very few people ever questioned MSU's credentials. In fact, it was one team in the Big Ten people respected and thought could do damage in the tourney. It was the Illinois, Wisconsin, Penn State and Minnesota contingent that people questioned and whether they all deserved bids.

I'm sure Jerome Bettis' name will come up.

Worse thing to happen to Louisville might have been their nearly 40 point win over Arizona. They came out and played like they expected to waltz to a victory. Their energy throughout the game reflected it.
Give credit to MSU for getting the game played at their tempo. Loiuisville seemed to never want to change it.

Although with the way they shoot free throws, maybe they thought they were better off with the chucking.

I didn't see the post game press conferences. Did anyone question Pitino on the strategy out there? Why didn't take it to them in the second half? I saw Louisville play quite a few times this season and they always turned up the pressure in the second half. Thry didn't today.
