    @ArkansasFred: there's still a chance, the reason amaro wouldnt give up both happ and drabek is then we'd lose our most reliable starter and our best prospect, but now that we have lee in the rotation we can afford to lose happ. run-on sentence. happ drabek brown mayberry. get it done ruben

    @ChanHoParkour: I don't see Rube parting with Drabek or Brown. Word on the street is he offered the Jays this same deal plus Happ for Halladay.

    They are really high on Brown who, in my opinion, is more expendable than Michael Taylor.

    The Jays offered Halladay for Brown, Happ and Drabek, and were rejected by Amaro. I can say that if the Jays had traded Halladay for this grab bag of mediocre junk the Phillies gave up, Gourmet Spud would already be at Ricciardi's front door with a tire iron.

    At least if he goes to the Red Sox, the Jays probably get Buchholz, Bowden and someone like Kalish or Reddick in return. None of Marson, Carrasco or Donald projects to be any sort of impact player, and Knapp is 18 years old with a history of shoulder problems.
