Kat DeLuna was called a "pop sensation" by the Texas Stadium announcer as she prepared to sing the National Anthem at what I'm assuming was the Monday Night game against the Eagles. She caused a sensation, all right. It's the first time I've heard an anthem singer booed who didn't unintentionally botch the lyrics.

That last verse is singing's version of a DeSean Jackson TD celebration. And Ed Hochuli was the one who spent last week apologizing?

Still, it's better than this.

What happens when a Canadian attempts to sing the U.S. National Anthem? Nothing short of comedy gold, that's what. We don't know exactly how old this is, or what game it's from, but we've seen enough boring renditions of our country's cherished song to wish that they'd do it this way every time. Anyway, Unibrow has a top 10 list of worst National Anthems ever, which is worth checking out, if you're into disasters. Note to Michael Bolton: When at Fenway, best to memorize the lyrics.

In a somewhat related item, we have a new world whistling champion. You're welcome.
