Great great WWE Pay-Per-View. Edge losing and winning the title. The triple finisher on Cena, nice match between Orton/HBK ; and RKO/Shane. The only thing I didn't like was the ECW match, I wish Christian got involved. However, this makes two PPVs in a row we didn't regret ordering. And for any old school wrestling fans who want to laugh:
@Business_Socks: I had heard nothing of it until I saw the preview after Flight of the Conchords. I gave it a shot. It wasnt the next great show, but I managed to make it all the way through.
@The Boy Wonder: It had it's moments. I thought they tried to go too far with the language. I imagine "YOU'RE FUCKING OUT" will be making plenty of appearances around here in the coming weeks.
As I said before no one ever went broke undrestimating the American public. In the late 60s and early 70s, while Roth, Updike and Heller were churning out great books, it was the likes of Jacqueline Susann, Arthur Hailey and Sidney Sheldon that were #1 on the bestseller list.
@toolcity: Honestly I stopped then too but this PPV confirms why I started watching again, because they managed to surprise even the internet spoilers again
You were right. It was worth skipping the skiing this weekend.
Keystone on Saturday wasn't too crowded, but the snow sucked. Today at Breck had lines out the ying-yang. Gonna' skip the crowds and go snowshoeing tomorrow, but now, it's time to go get some townies!
Don't spend a lot of money on rental skis. As a new skier, you probably won't be able to tell the difference between standard rentals, and premium rentals. However, make sure you're really comfortable in your boots. Bad boots can ruin a day.
Besides that, be ready to fall, to laugh at yourself, and to have a great time. Skiing is a blast, especially with good friends.
Where mountain are you going to?
Oh, and make sure you wear a wicking layer against your skin (no cotton), and have a good waterproof outer layer.
@toolcity: Its either hang in the lodge, get drunk off expensive alcohol, and meet some ski bunnies or fall, be cold, and be in great pain the next day.
@Phil Mickelsons Man Tits: Its my first winter here also. I learned to snowboard on New England's mountains. However, I've already become a bit of a snob when it comes to the conditions.
I'm all for the NBA putting good team players on the All-Star team, but this is too much like a real game. At least having the self-serving guys like T-Mac and Vince Carter made for some good dunks. There hasn't even been a good lob pass yet.
@Shakey: I'm having a great time watching all of the West players surprised by the various ways that Paul gets them the ball. Shaq almost got caught in the face with one of his passes because he wasnt expecting it.

Just tuned in, so forgive me if something else posted this. Scroll down a little and check out the sixth "author" submission.

Guess NPR wouldn't run "Pass the fucking chips, you whore."

The term "famous" and/or "author" is tossed around lightly these days.

Agreed. Apparently last season was amazing, but this year has been pretty bare.
On the other hand, this is my first winter in Colorado, and I grew up skiing in Vermont, so even a bad winter out here is pretty good!
Have fun at WP.

Yeah, it happens fast!
Me and some friends rented a place in Frisco for the winter, so if we wake up and it's colder than 20, or there's no new snow, it's back to bed!
