    @Sculptor?!? I just met her!: Right. Once there's a program that I'd actually be interested in watching on the MLB channel, they'll cancel it (or put it on a "premium" tier) and I'll be stuck with 100+ channels that I have zero interest in.

    @Charles: I own the first Jackass movie on DVD, and I still got sucked into watching it on MTV last weekend. The little segments are the ones that I really lose it on; I was HOWLING at "Ryan Dunn gets beat up by a girl" and "Roller Disco Truck."

    @Charles: It's nice. I have the Netflix player from Roku and my 360 on a Live account.


    They're both nice, but I wish either platform would let me browse the Netflix website to add to my instant queue.

    @Charles: Getting access to the Starz on-demand line-up was one of Netflix's best moves ever.


    Still, they'll need a bigger library before I call their streaming video the "best thing ever."


    Bonus points if they can bring in the more popular shows from Fox and ABC.

    @Steve_U: At a lot of places, you can register for gift cards, which I realize isn't the same as cash, especially if you intend for that cash to go to other things (rent/mortgage, liquor, porn store). Get the gift cards, sell them on craigslist at 90 cents on the dollar, etc....
