On Monday night at around 10 p.m., the Niagara Purple Eagles boarded a bus in Pittsburgh for what should have been a four-hour ride home. At 2 a.m. on Tuesday, just 30 miles or so from campus, the bus stopped. The snow had arrived. They were stuck for a while.
Niagara's Anthony Nelson puked his guts out in the first minute of play, then promptly went out and put up the first triple-double in school history. Oh, and this posterization. [Niagara Gazette]

Well, the NCAA Tournament kinda starts tonight, with the much-anticipated Florida A&M-Niagara matchup. Winner earns the right to knock Bill Self's toupee off his head come Friday. We enjoy this game every year, but other than Dan Shanoff, we might be the only one. (Even people in Dayton don't like it.)
