    Rogers, meanwhile, is angry that Deadspin has dragged its name into the fracas when the arena is sponsored by General Motors.

    Did you read the article? Cherry had no problem with the kid talking to him, it was the arena management who apparently have a policy barring their staff from talking to any "celebrities" under any circumstances. Cherry has spoken up for the kid.

    @Kid Canada: That's what I was trying to say, though I left out the humor we're all used to. I think the arena's policy is stupid. How can you ban people from talking to celebrities, unless you segregate them like they're VIPs in a nightclub? Seems like it goes against the community feeling of a hockey arena.
