&#8226; As for the rest of the game... Theo Walcott netted two goals in what should have been another win for the Gunners. However, BIrmingham City equalized on a penalty just before the ref's final whistle. League leading Arsenal lost out on a chance to maintain their lead over Manchester against a team stuck in a relegation battle. The injuries are really piling up for Hirshey's side.

&#8226; That's a paddlin'. Manchester took full advantage of Arsenal's unfortunate result by pounding Newcastle for five goals. Rooney and Ronaldo had two a piece before Louis Saha snuck his way on to the score sheet with a late goal. Manchester's 5-1 win puts them within striking distance of Arsenal.

&#8226; Torres keeps Liverpool going. Fernando Torres came through with a monster hat-trick to keep Liverpool in the top four, if only by a matter of goals.

It was another example of the Gunners playing in an un-Arsenal-like style, but they accomplished the task with ease. Tomas Rosicky added to the scoring sheet with a goal off of a volley to make it 3-0 for the victors. Deuce converted on a header at one point, but about half of Craven Cottage was offside.

&#8226; Red Devils keep the lead. Rooney and Ronaldo both scored again, and they didn't even have to pay for it this time. Manchester had a tough go of it early on against Reading, but it was just a matter of time before the goal scorers found their finishing touch.

&#8226; That could have been worse. Chelsea was a bit "off" in their match with Birmingham City but the famed Belletti-to-Pizarro combination finally scored to give my Blues another signature 1-0 escape. The remain 4 points off of the pace set by the two evil clubs mentioned above.
