You might recall, "Rampage" was taken into custody for driving recklessly and striking several vehicles in the process. After his arrest, no drugs or alcohol were found in his system, and police released him on bail. But now, it appears as though his problems are only beginning.

A woman whose vehicle Jackson hit that fateful night has had a miscarriage, according to her fiance.

Holli Griggs, 38, was driving her 2007 Cadillac Escalade in the left lane on the southbound 55 Freeway just south of Bay Street on July 15 when Jackson’s gray-and-green pick-up truck sideswiped her as he drove along the median lane at about 45 mph, California Highway Patrol officials said.

Prosecutors have yet to file charges against Jackson, a former light heavyweight champion for the Ultimate Fighting Championship who remains free on $25,000 bail. Prosecutors would not comment on any potential charges due to Griggs’ miscarriage.

According to the story, the couple has retained the services of an attorney but they have yet to press any charges. You can bet, though, that this will almost certainly not end well for Mr. Jackson.

<![CDATA[Rampage Jackson Will Knock You Out And Hump Your Leg]]>

(UPDATE: That video is dead... but you can see it here. You should probably hurry.)

For the first time since Royce Gracie was wrestling Ken Shamrock, I actually ended up watching part of the UFC shindig last night, including the Rampage Jackson vs. Chuck Liddell main event. It seemed a little anti-climactic to me, but in an event of this nature, with weeks of hype preceding it, maybe that can't be helped. It was 112 seconds of nothing, and then 1 second of Chuck Liddell being punched.

Just so it's not a total loss, here's evidence to back up the commentators' claims that Rampage is the best (and possibly horniest) interview in the UFC.

And for a high-quality liveblog of last night's action, put your mouse here.

<![CDATA[Hopefully, Tim Duncan Suffers From Cyanophobia]]> A fear of the color blue is what we're counting on to tighten this series up. The attire of the fans in Salt Lake City is the focus of the AP article previewing Game Three of the Spurs/Jazz series. Everyone in Energy Solutions arena will be decked out tonight in "True Blue" shirts that will, I don't know ... intimidate the Spurs? A noisy light-blue background is what we're counting on to make this series interesting? Awesome.

The Spurs lead the series 2-0 and the first two games haven't left a lot of room for intrigue. Tim Duncan's good, Tony Parker's good, and Manu Ginobili's good ... and the Jazz are good, too, but not quite as good as the Spurs. And that's really all there's been to it thus far.

Also happening tonight: UFC 71, featuring Chuck Liddell vs. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. I don't know a lot about this Ultimate Fighting business, but I have seen a hell of a lot of Chuck Liddell this week. And I did enjoy this feature on Page 2.
