    The Musberger/Beyonce fiasco was entertaining, but it doesn't come close to Keith Jackson, during the 2006 Rose Bowl, mind you, plugging John Stamos' new sitcom "Jake, In Progress". Seriously, the comma was in like eight different places.

    They're up to number 6 in the BCS standings. What's the route to the BCS Title Game for Utah? I'll tell you. Alabama loses to Auburn, Florida loses to Florida State then beats Alabama in the SEC Title Game. Oklahoma loses to Oklahoma State, Texas Tech loses to Baylor, and Texas loses to Missouri in the Big 12 Title Game. Then, I think, Utah would play USC for the BCS Championship. See, Ute fans, the BCS is an infallible and fair system. You've got a shot too!

    Ain't no way a team that got WAXED as hard as TTU did by OU should be within sniffing distance of the national title game.


    But it's moot anyway: OU won't lose to Okie Lite.

    Which deserves a cry baby cry comment, because the team that got waxed beat yours. So yours apparently does not deserve a national title shot either. But apparently you think USC and Florida do, even though they both lost to worse teams. Yeah, OK.


    And it's extra sad too, because Mack Brown is one of the biggest opponents there is of running up the score to help BCS ranking, in direct contrast to Mike Leach and Bob Stoops.

    @drewheyman: Are you reading what I write, or just assuming all this? Please point out where I said: my team deserves a national title shot, or where I said USC or Florida do. Please, point that out to me.


    I said TTU will not make it to the national title game, and they won't. OU will.


    Quit putting words in my mouth, I'm quite capable of speaking for myself.

    @DeepFriar: Uh, even that normally reliable sport isn't working out so hot this year for the two usual powers. Michigan State sucks (currently 10th in the CCHA) and Michigan isn't nearly as good as they usually are. Michigan got swept in Oxford by #7 (last week) Miami. MSU just got swept by Nebraska-Omaha and even before that wasn't even in the Top 25 of either of the rankings.

    The funny thing is that Pryor sucks and OSU would have beat Penn State if Boeckman had played. I can't stand OSU and this bothers the shit out of me for some reason.
