Gene Jarman was Wednesday Night's keynote
speaker at the City Celebration Night. The motiva-
tional speaker got the girls attention with his
Spongebob Squarepants tie and then leading them in
a rousing rendition of the show's theme song.
Officer Jarman spoke about his first experience
with taking away someone's freedom and privacy. He
had executed a search warrant of a couple's home
and described his feelings when going through their
personal belongings. He expressed the overwhelm-
ing feeling of power that government has.

I was appalled at the Sienna students solutions to the very serious problem of deforestation. On multiple occasions I saw t-shirts that said Save a tree, Eat a beaver. To advocate munching on these poor defenseless creatures just to save our natural resources was disgusting.

Yeah because if they don't hear it from drunken basketball fans, they won't hear it anywhere else. Not at the park, not in the nursing home, and definitely not at the bingo parlor.
