    The NHL is like a once great indie band, They were really freaking cool until they tried to go mainstream and now are just one miserable, boring ppower ballad.

    I hate the man, don't get me wrong, but taunting another dude about his girlfriend is career ending? And where I'm from, sloppy seconds refer to banging a girl later the same night that has already had relations.


    At least the NHL is getting some publicity

    It's not the taunting that's career ending. It's the Sean Avery that's career ending. The management regretted signing him, the douche of a GM thinks that he's a douche, the coach hated coaching him, his teammates hated him... besides, it's not career ending. Just (probably) his Dallas career.
