Bad: Lithium has played songs from 1988 and 2000 in the last two days (admittedly, good songs from those years, but, um, those years are between 1990 and 1999)
Good: Spectrum played "Twice as Hard" yesterday and Patty Griffin's "One Big Love" this morning. That was good.

Lithium seems to have become about finding the most obscure song from the grunge period; sometimes there's a reason a song is obscure, it isn't any good.
I helped my dad setup his DLP set tonight; the picture is spectacular, but there was some odd pixelation with quick motion shots. I'm chalking it up to Comcast compressing the hell out of their signal, but it's worth researching if you're considering a DLP set.

Good on the tip. I landed on a 40" Samsung LCD, since both my parents and my sister have one and I've always liked the picture on theirs, but thanks.

@Slothrop: I have a 55" rear projection, and I always thought it had a pretty good picture; but this DLP set made it look bland.

My mom used to put The Today Show on the TV when my siblings and I were eating breakfast, it was a big thing when someone was on that show, it was like that person had made it and meant something. Now, I don't know what the fuck that show is, and yes I'm judging solely by this one interview, but it was like these two women were flirtatiously badgering him rather than asking questions about his career or the movie he was promoting.
