    No one suggests that McGwire wouldn't be closing in on Roger Maris' home run record without the over-the-counter drug.


    Funny because I heard that someone once found a subscription to Tiger Beat Magazine next to a bottle of KY in Wilstein's bedroom.


    But no one suggests that he would be fucking a 10 year old.

    @crazyjoedavola: I think the frustration lies with the fact that the reporters did a generally poor job both in the fact that they ignored the story for a while, and when this jackhole finally "broke" it, they went completely overboard with the speculation and condemnation. Now they want to ess each others' dees for a job well done.

    @Theodore Donald Kerabatsos: No disagreement there, but pulling a quote from the original story that has a completely reasonable and contextually accurate description of the effects of andro, especially since 99% of his readers hadn't heard of it at the time he wrote this, isn't exactly whipping up hysteria.
