    @navin: There's no fighting in college hockey. It's supposed to be an automatic ejection and 1 game suspension for just throwing a punch.

    @White Speed Receiver: Which is why Michigan fans wonder why Conboy was still on the ice to begin with, since the reason he was in the penalty box was because he punched a Michigan player in the face, directly in front of the ref.


    The ref deserves to get his ass fired too.

    @Craig Eshericks Mustache: Refs are more likely to just give out roughing minors and a verbal warning instead of kicking them right out of the game right away. Sometimes it backfires, because some teams (*cough*NORTHDAKOTARA*cough*) are cheap and try to goad you into throwing a punch. I don't know what what Kampfer was playing like, but I think it's safe to assume that the refs just lost this one.
