    Good decision: Going for it on 4th down because you have (arguably) the best offense in the league and your short-handed defense is sucking wind and totally helpless.

    Bad decision: Running a hot route to Kevin Faulk to get it.

    Seriously, Moss and Welker are on the field. Let your big players make the big play. That's the only problem I see here. #billbelichick

    He should have taken a time-out, made everybody on defense some grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup, played Chutes & Ladders or Clue, then watch something fun like Toy Story, or The Incredibles all snuggled together under a warm blankie, and then PUNT THE FUCKING BALL.

    So how does that math equation factor in all the variables that would have come into play during a 60 yard drive? It can't. Should have punted.

    I'd take any quarterback having to go 60-70 yards over 29. They scored with 12 seconds left for crying out loud. #billbelichick

    @Phintastic: So, to sum up...
    1) It's math, I don't trust it.
    2) All the potential variables are unknowable.
    3) I am nevertheless absolutely fixed in my conviction that punting would have been better because, again, math? I don't trust it.
    4) 70 is better than 29, which is obvious, but completely ignores the possibility of the game-winning conversion because I will not allow the facts of the situation to intrude upon my settled opinion.
    5) I will also completely ignore the game situation and the Colts' efforts to intentionally bleed the clock in order to attempt to score cheap points with this 12 second thing.
    6) Math, I don't trust it. #billbelichick
