    Okay, re: LeBron's weight. I, and others I'm sure, have heard some BS that the man got himself up to 275 or so in the offseason, which is ludicrous. Dwight Howard is listed at 265, and there's no chance in hell that LBJ weighs more than Dwight. Please confirm my suspicions and validate my sports knowledge. #bookexcerpts

    Reading the except posted prior on Kobe prompts this question: We hear all the time about how the great NBA players are immersed in the game and have that Jordan-like killer instinct. Who's the best player you've ever seen who was the opposite of that-the best player you're ever seen who was generally uninterested in the game, lacked that same predatory nature and/or coasted by on talent alone? How good do you think that player could be/have been if he had that special instinct that Kobe has? #bookexcerpts

    @MarkKelsosMigraine: Contract the NBA to 14 teams and the season to 40 games and the NBA would be just as good, but it's spread too thin.
    I lived in Philly for a while and used to watch DC. Guy had so much talent. Could have been a top-5 player of his era. Perhaps we should ask him.. #bookexcerpts

    @DirkToberFest: This is by no means a definitive list, but Bird is on there (in part because he always backed it up), and you'd have to put GP on as well. Bill Russell didn't necessarily talk shit during the game, but if you go back and read the stuff he wrote in SI - it's in the vault - it was clearly designed to get in opponents' heads.
    As for the second part, I'd have to think on it but Jerry Stackhouse is definitely not on that list #bookexcerpts
