    I grew up in a small town. If you were a senior and wanted to play football you were on Varsity because there were no cuts. At some point in high school the coaches decided that everyone needed to have an offensive as well as a defensive position. I can't catch a cold, I am slower than molasses, and I am average in size. Every offensive position but lineman was out of the question for me. Coaches took a few looks of me at lineman and just gave up on me having an offensive position. What the hell does that say about me that I can't even be accepted as an offensive lineman?

Did they simply think he was the best available coach, or are they consciously following "the best defense is a good offense" mantra from Phoenix?
