    The chair of the women's selection committee is from Duke, so they didn't have a problem with the seeding a week ago. But now it's unfair?


    Anything to get Alyssa DeHaan more face time, I guess.


    Shouldn't the bigger outrage be the fact that Coach P's hubby teaches at UNC? What's with that?

    @budbrad: Plus, the selection process seeds teams first, and *then* places them in the bracket according to proximity to the venues. So, all of the #9 seeds were looked at independent of the #1 seeds, #8 seeds and #16 seeds. Likely, MSU was the top #9 seed, earning the right to play closer to home over the other three #9 seeds.


    Same for the Men, except they don't get to play on their home court.*
