    i'd translate but i'm at work. christ, our most talented national team in years, and they pick diego to lead them into battle.

    the last time diego managed not to fuck something up is 1990. he's a national icon and all, but the man is an michael jackson level fuckup. this can only end ugly. #diegomaradona

    My high-school Spanish confirms that he uses a variation of the verb "chupar", which means "to suck." My high-school Spanish also has me convinced that Maradona wants to pop balloons with a polka-dot spatula. #diegomaradona

    Between the officiating and the coaching that mountian was just too much for our guys to overcome.
    We still have more points that Mexico and their team has been in shambles. Hopefully they will return to their old ways. and miss out on the WC.

    @The Gizmo from Pismo: I would say that getting a weak yellow card in a big game makes you a little indecisive. They should have done better but you can't deny that the officiating was crap.

    @The Gizmo from Pismo: I can't say I understand how it was Landon's fault that we couldn't keep the ball long enough to get it to him.
    It was the horrendous "passing" out of the back that did us in. As usual.

    @UkraineNotWeak: Neither. He was told that if he did a "good" job then there would be bottled water waiting for him after the game. If he does not do a "good" job he can drink from the tap.

    @Barry White Stripes, Office LW: Apparently Torrado got a yellow but that just means that he can do what ever he pleases for the rest of the game. No way any Mexican player gets sent off.
