Now that we've all had time to calm down and process last night's final episode of "The Sopranos" — and not screaming like a freaking crazy person — we find ourselves, strangely, pleasantly disappointed. Many have said the whole show was a series of head-fakes and jump-starts, but we're not sure about that: Up until the final five minutes, we received legitimate closure on a series of plotlines, and we even see Uncle Junior wheeled out for a grand finale, sans chompers. We've written in the past about sports being one of the few uniting conversation topics left on the planet, but for the past few months, for us, it has been the last days of "The Sopranos." We like Jets coach Eric Mangini, even if he's way too young to be that football-coach tubby. But we — as obsessed "Sopranos" fans since the very first episode — hope he understands the honor bestowed upon him. He cameoed last night on what was one of the most intense, breathtaking episodes of the most intense, breathtaking television programs of our lifetime.
