Wait ... Why Is There A Guy Next To The Mound ... And ... Oh, Jeez, We Give Up

Here's today's pointless, needlessly confusing pseudo sport: The National Xtreme Baseball League, which has two batters, a ton of extra fielders and the potential for 29 people on the field at once. It makes no sense at all, and we feel for the players "interviewed" in the promotional video, most of whom seem vaguely forlorn by the freak show they signed up for because the Rookie League team they tried out for didn't sign them. Just watching this video gives us a headache. <a href="http://deadspin.com/258644/wait--why-is-there-a-guy-next-to-the-mound--and--oh-jeez-we-give-up" title="Click here to read more about Wait ...
