USC linebacker Osa Masina has been charged with two counts of forcible sodomy and one count of rape following an investigation by the Cottonwood Heights Police Department. Sgt. Dan Bartlett, who headed the investigation for the department, confirmed the news Thursday. Masina’s bail for the Utah case has been set at $250,000.

The alleged victim told police she and Masina had been partying in Cottonwood Heights when she passed out and woke up to find Masina on top of her, engaging in anal intercourse. The woman—the same one accusing Masina of an earlier sexual assault in Los Angeles—had a rape kit administered after she went to police.

In addition to the Cottonwood Heights assault, which allegedly took place July 26, Masina is under investigation for a July 14 sexual assault that took place in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department investigation remains ongoing. According to a report from TMZ , the woman claims Masina and fellow ex-USC football player Don Hill drugged and raped her July 14 at a frat party. Masina allegedly also sent photos taken of the woman during the assault to her ex-boyfriend, reportedly a football player at Arizona, via Snapchat

After the frat party, the woman claims she was taken to Hill’s apartment — but insists she was “out of it” due to the Xanax and the booze. However, she remembers smoking weed.

“The next thing the victim recalls is having sex with Osa Chad Masina,” the search warrant says.

The woman claims she remembers Masina “holding her head and putting her mouth on his penis” while Hill had vaginal sex with her.

Both Masina and Hill were initially held out of USC’s first two games but still allowed to practice prior to being suspended from all football team activities Tuesday. Masina was banned from campus last Friday and given until Monday to remove his belongings from his campus living space.
